Description

The TROJ transmitter from COMECO is part of a new project for a budget temperature transmitter with a fixed input. Pt100 resistance thermometers and 8 different types of thermocouples can be connected to the input, and the output can be current or voltage, 2- or 3-wire. This model allows programming of the conversion range and direction, as well as the output response to input failure, without the need for user calibration. TROJ is available in different housings: for installation in a thermal probe protective head, in a high protection or Ex box, as well as in a DIN rail mounting housing. The serial interface allows for quick and easy programming using the “TraCon” software. Thanks to the combination of capabilities, reliability, simplicity, flexibility and low cost, the TROJ transmitter is easy to service and widely applicable to replace old analog models.
