Description

The COMECO RHV humidity probe is designed to replace the old RHS model, designed primarily for climate applications. Through a thin-film capacitive sensor and a platinum thermo-resistance, this probe measures the relative humidity and temperature of air and non-aggressive gases at atmospheric pressure and converts both parameters into a standard current or voltage signal or into information via an RS232 serial interface. Characteristic of the model is the possibility that the output analog signal corresponds to humidity or temperature depending on the state of the special programming input. Two options are available depending on the type of output – 2-wire and 3-wire. The probe has a high degree of protection M12 coupling with 4 prongs and can be equipped with a stainless sintered filter to protect the sensor from condensate and contaminants. Due to its robust stainless construction, flexible communication options and attractive price, the RHV probe is widely used in air-conditioning technology and the food industry.
