RT28U is a high-quality universal process controller designed for a wide range of ON/OFF control applications, compatible with industry standards for temperature sensors. It is equipped with a 3-digit bright LED display for panel mounting and has two programmable relay outputs for control or alarm. Supports inputs for platinum resistance thermometers (Pt100, Pt1000) according to DIN IEC 60751, thermocouples according to DIN IEC 60584 and PTC sensors with KTY characteristic. The device offers settings via keyboard or rotary encoder for setting the setpoint and programming the parameters, self-diagnosis, self-calibration and programmable compensation of the line resistance and the temperature of the “cold” end. The correspondence of the input and display for linear input, the decimal point, the measurement unit are programmed. An optional RS485 communication interface is available. Thanks to the universal input, communication capabilities and variety of housings, the RT28U finds wide application in industrial automation and can be used as a thermostat, temperature controller or thermal controller.
