Description
The SCRM model is a bus-mounted speed controller designed to control the speed of rotation of AC single-phase electric motors up to 5A/230VAC. The device works on the principle of changing the phase angle of inclusion (from 25 to 180 degrees) of a powerful built-in triac, and the angle (respectively the revolutions) is set with a potentiometer mounted on the front panel. The SCRM can control electric motors with a power of up to 500 VA, for example on fans or other industrial equipment. The “soft” start option allows the electric motor to reach the set speed smoothly (gradually), and the feedback option to monitor the current through the electric motor keeps the speed within certain limits as the rotor load changes. The reliability and simplicity of the SCRM regulator make it widely applicable in the implementation of economical solutions for controlling the revolutions/speed of machines based on single-phase alternating current electric motors.
