The temperature controller TC48 has no digital indication of the controlled value, therefore it is suitable in cases where a low cost of the control system is required and in particular in the control of processes in the food industry, chemical industry and household appliances. With its DIN face size of 48×48 mm, the TC48 is suitable for installation in machinery and equipment where small dimensions and face sizes are essential. The unit operates with either a resistance temperature sensor or a “J’ or “K” type thermocouple and can be used to control temperature processes by controlling electrical actuators via a two-position law relay control output. A potentiometer and scale on the front panel provide easy job setting, and a red LED indicates a broken sensor. The controller can be mounted on a panel, on a bus, as well as in a plinth. Because it is cheap, compact and convenient to operate, the TC48 thermostat is also widely applicable.
