Description

PSF21x is a programmable flow detector designed for clear and low-viscosity liquids transmitting infrared light. Its operation is based on the measurement of liquid volume by means of an extremely light rotor, an IR sensor and advanced electronics for measurement and control. The building materials used (PVDF, Vectra®, Viton®, EPDM, etc.) have good temperature resistance (up to 90 °C), and a special version with increased chemical resistance is also possible. A special variant with increased chemical resistance also extends the transmitter application. PSF21x is equipped with a button for easy programming and a 3-digit LED display for indication of the measured flow. The annunciator has a TTL pulse output proportional to the flow and a PNP/NPN relay output which is activated when one of the alarm limits is reached. PSF21x can be used as a flow meter, flow transmitter with pulse output, ON/OFF controller or alarm sounder suitable for water treatment and other applications.
