H6300 by COMECO is designed to measure moisture content of wood or concrete samples, employing an electromagnetic measurement principle. With the help of a sensor detecting variations of electromagnetic field within sample, the device measures moisture content even without an electrical contact with the sample. To perform a measurement, simply place the moisture detector on even sample surface. A correction table for measurement correction for various types of wood and concrete is supplied with the moisture meter. H6300 may be used for other similar materials if their specific weight when completely dry is known. The moisture detector is equipped with a 16-dot LED display for exact reading of moisture in 1% steps, and is powered by an alkaline or rechargeable 9 V battery. An exceptionally lightweight and compact device, H6300 is especially suited for measurement of thin samples as well as for fast and frequent measurements.
