The LCI2x isolating amplifier is a low-cost isolating unit with robust plastic case for rail mounting, especially designed to be used with COMECO’s ATEX-approved float level switches series LCSFT. The isolator operates with a wide range of power supply voltages and provides an isolated sensor voltage of only 2.5 V. The internal optical isolator and pulse transformer ensure an isolation level of 750 V. LCI2x can be ordered either with 1 input and 1 relay output, or, when the application requires controlling high and low level points, with 2 inputs and 2 corresponding output relays. Up to 3 LEDs provide convenient indication of the output and power state. The excellent price-to- performance ratio makes the remote isolating unit LCI2x a very useful device for low-cost Ex applications in liquid level control.
