The controller measures the temperature of the pasteurized milk at the outlet of the plate heat exchanger and regulates the heat exchanger’s power by adjusting the steam flow rate. For this purpose, the controller is equipped with two control relays, which are used to open or close the motor-operated valve.
If the controlled temperature deviates from the setpoint, the controller opens or closes the motor-operated valve in steps until the temperature returns to the desired range. When the temperature is within the acceptable range, neither of the relay outputs is activated, and the motor-operated valve remains stationary.
