In many technological processes (such as drying, sterilization, ceramic firing, metal heat treatment, dyeing, etc.), it is necessary to control the main technological parameter (most often temperature) according to a predefined time-based program. This is achieved through the use of specialized controllers with profile-based settings (e.g., RT1800).
It is possible to input several different programs, each of which represents a time-based schedule consisting of a specific number of points. Each point is characterized by a set value and the duration of the period from/to the previous point. The controller aims (according to the physical capabilities of the system) to maintain the controlled parameter over time according to the pre-entered selected program and the regulation law.
