TC10 is an external setting block, spatially separated as a separate device. In many cases, when building automation systems, it is necessary to locate the regulating device (controller) in one place, and to change the process assignment from another place. This is especially often required when using programmable microprocessor controllers, where the task change is performed by relatively complex manipulations with a numeric keypad. With frequent job changes, this makes it difficult for the operator. The TC10 external “Assignment” block with its convenient analog scale and simple installation solves this problem. 2 versions are available: passive, where the reference is a potentiometer output (5 kΩ) and active, which generates a standardized current or voltage output signal proportional to the reference. The TC10 unit works perfectly with COMECO’s RT series controllers as well as other digital controllers and control systems.
